This second, four-year voyage took them first to Central America, then across the Atlantic, into the Mediterranean, and as far east as Turkey before returning across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. I thought on second trip he would be more relaxed and enjoy it more but seems he dwells on stress. Not many of us ever get the chance to leave.our jobs and kids behind to sail off for remote islands ,.I cant.see being miserable doing.it. The tone of this book is sour and pessimistic. It has little sense of fun or adventure. Apart from that it’s a dry account of sailing to a number of cool places in the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas.
